You started school! You were very excited about. This is your kindergarten photo. You had Mrs. Rhoton and went to P.M. Kindergarten.
This is your class from Round Valley Primary School.

You were always wandering around the house with something on your head. This time it happens to be a bucket.
5 March 2003. Your very first pair of glasses. You look so handsome.

In the summer of 2003 we took a trip up to Salt Lake City, Utah. Grandma Rogers was telling about this dog that was registered with the American Kennel Club and needed a home and was free. I thought it over and thought having a dog would be good for you kids as Dad was overseas in Iraq. We brought "Copper" home. He was the prettiest English Springer Spaniel I've ever seen the brown on him was a true copper - like a brand-new penny. You and he hit it off really well. Unfortunately - all we have left of him is this picture. Michael and Nephi were allergic to him and we had to give him away to a good home we hope.
22 August 2003. Your first day of kindergarten!

Third Birthday
The Year 2000
Fall and Winter 1999
We lived just across from the High School in Eagar, Arizona. The front yard was completely fenced in and you loved riding this motorcycle up and down the sidewalk. With the construction hat on your head.
You also love to play with Dad. Here - you guys built a fort on and around Donovan's train set. I think Dad did all the building though.
We would get snow storms when we lived in Eagar, Arizona. Here you are holding one very large gigantic iscicle that Dad brought in for you. Sometimes they would go from the roof to almost all the way to the ground.

1999
I believe this first picture was 1999. I could be wrong - it might be 2000. We were visiting Aunt Lynda in Salt Lake City, Utah. You loved riding on this toy. And wearing the fireman hat.
Here we are in with all our stuff! Dad got the job in Eagar, Arizona. We stayed with Aunt Carrie and Uncle Ron the last night we were in Utah as Grandma and Grandpa Zaugg came down from Oregon to say good-bye. Donovan rode with Dad all the way to our new home and you rode with me in the car.

You were the only one with us here. Dad had a job interview in Eagar, AZ so we drove down with him. You found another use for this little bucket....a stylish hat!
We stopped at the Grand Canyon on our way back through Arizona to Utah. We had never been there before. This would be our only time to ever go. It was kind of expensive. Here are Christopher and Candace.

November 1998
Your first birthday!
Summer 1998
Me with my Dad and brother Donovan.
Dad's legs are long enough you can just lay there for a nice back rub. I also think you were allergic to mommy's milk as you had an exzema rash on your arm here and on your face. It went away after I quit nursing you. Come to think of it - you don't drink much milk now. But you do like cheese and yogurt.
You fell asleep in daddy's arms.
You were at Aunt Carrie's house. This room you are sitting in was their toy room. This mess all around - YOU made. ALL by yourself. You were certainly a VERY busy boy. When you got tired of pulling everything out to play with - you plopped down in the middle of it with books.
10 months old. This picture was taken in Portland, Oregon. You, Donovan and Mom went to visit grandmas and grandpas for about a month. Grandpa Dysart came to Utah and drove us back to Oregon. Grandpa and Grandma Rogers drove us back to Utah from Washington.

6 - 9 months or so....
All these pictures I am pretty sure were when you were between the ages of 6-9 months. I was a bad mommy and only put the year on the back of the pictures.
Playing with the rings.

"Oh no! I've been caught!" (Mom has repeatedly told me to stay out of this shelf.) Oh - you had a blanket around your neck. It was your security for like....forever! You still have a blanket around your neck at age 10 1/2!
Well...if I sit and grin really, really big - maybe that will make everything okay!
Uncle Erich took this picture and the next one when he came to visit over spring break.
I can't decide which one I like the best. I think this one.
You actually fell asleep this way. I guess it could be comfortable if there are enough blankets piled up in front of you.
